In the early hours of this morning, Grace took her last breath. Claudia, a very old friend of Grace’s came to see Grace
Claudia called Sarah, who in turn called Rutger, and I called Carma. Sarah answered, but Carma didn’t.
Everything is sorted regarding the core funeral arrangements. Around 10:00, the undertaker will come to clean and dress Grace and place her in the coffin. I say goodbye as she is driven off to the funeral home, where she will be kept until the funeral.
I feel so empty and confused.
