Last night I put my new noise cancelling headphones on Grace and played her favourtie songs, including those from Eros Ramazzotti and George Michael. Grace was singing aloud, it was wonderful. It is the most engaged and active I had seen her in a long time. Isabel is concerned that the headphones will get broken if I leave them with Grace, so she kindly sorts and bring in her own headphones.
I bring cakes as treat and its nice to hear from Maria that I always choose things the residents like.
As you can see from the photo, it was like being at home. Sitting in front of the TV with my feet up.
At work, colleagues are concerned that I am not going to have my contract reviewed at the end of July, where the year term ends. Well we will see……. I am relaxed about it.
I’ve made the decision to go to Manchester in early May. I will get to see Ian, Geraldine and Jody. I am looking forward to seeing them and others.
