A New Life Chapter is Coming?

I can feel that I need to start a new chapter. I used to always describe a chapter as something that occurred over several years, but it feels like these windows of time are becoming much shorter.

Over the last six months, I’ve been getting professional qualifications, writing a book, learning Dutch, and taking exams (though I still need to reach fluency). I need to continue working on this second book. However, I don’t need to maintain the same pace as I did with the first book; in fact, by slowing down, I hope to give more thought to the content, resulting in a better narrative, structure, and detail, thus producing a higher-quality output.

I’ve made my Facebook posts about the book, and I know I definitely need to focus on the second book now. It’s something I enjoy doing, although I haven’t faced criticism yet. 😊

But the new chapter needs to focus on a wider set of dreams……..

I almost went to the walk and talk session this evening, but it was so cold and the metro was late, so I returned home and had some coconut cake and tea instead.

The Power of AI – Translated My Book into 5 Languages in 5 Minutes

I then used the time to discover the power of AI and translated my book into five different languages in just five minutes. It’s f@@king awesome. I’ve now reached out on facebook to members of different FTD groups to ask if anyone will help with proof reading the translations.

Lunch with Grace

I went to see Grace for lunch, and we shared soup and sandwiches. My connection with her comes and goes in waves. Sometimes it’s very strong for a week or so, then weakens, only to become very strong again the following week. I suppose it’s like any normal relationship.

As I mentioned earlier, I need to figure out where I’m heading and what I’m doing. I need to find new challenges and motivations.

Beers for My Very Good Student Neighbours

I bought a crate of beers for the students on the ground floor. I think they were pleasantly surprised by the gesture, and they deserved it. They’ve been great neighbours: taking parcels for me when I’m not in, helping move an old sofa downstairs, looking after my keys, and taking care of my shopping when I lost my keys. They have been perfect neighbours. Alex suggested we have a beer together, which is nice, though my gesture came with no expectations.
