The Dump of Manchester City Airport
Someone has farted on the plane or otherwise has really bad breath. OMG it could be person next to me and he can see my screen as I type this. My laptop closes. I am on my way to Manchester, to see old friend and client. I’ve taken the 0955 flight from Schiphol. I’m next walking up the stairs in the terminal building and someone else has farted, or I have something neurological problem?
I describe the airport at Manchester as something akin a bus station from the 1960s, which has not been modernised. The passport control area looks like you are queuing up for public toilets. I get revenue slumped due to COVID, but this is the first place many people see when they come to the North West from aboard.

On My Way Back to NL
Really nice seeing Ian, Jody and Sandra. Three very caring people who are good friends that have had first hand experience of a closed loved one with dementia, in Sandra’s case her father had early age dementia. I dont miss the UK though, for me I need to focus on new experiences.

Firestarter at Work
Someone at work is up to their usual tricks of ‘lighting fires’ 😂. Been here with some many other similar people in the past. Its caused rumbling with a senior leader, but I’ll work it through……. and 2 hours later its sorted.

Am I staying beyond 1st August?
I dropped an email today to my Line Manager, HR and COO asking if they would let me know if they want to retain my after 31st July, when my contract ends. My line manager responds within a short period and confirms they will. I’ll report back then!
Deborah’s Book is a Nice Read
Ha ha I have posted on 3 different FTD groups about how Deborah’s book is a nice read and getting loads of ‘likes’, with some people saying they will read it.
It’s a nice book to read, easy going. Some things i can relate to other and other things are learnings for me.
Herbal Mix to Relaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Mix
So I order a couple of products online, one was called Moonwalk 30ml | 1 Flesje and the 2-Spicy – 3 gram | Kruidenmix. The moonwalk seems to do something last night (04/05/2023) and now I’ve put half the herb mix in some tea. Let’s see what happens?
