Dutch NT Written Exam Done!
I’ve completed my Dutch language written test this morning, and I’ve never felt so relaxed about an exam. While I certainly want to pass, what this morning demonstrated was how much I have learned. Even if I don’t pass, it won’t be by a significant margin, and I will have another chance to succeed in the future. I may even consider taking B2 tests next year, as I believe I am close to that level, just one step away from fluency.
Paperwork for Testament
Grace’s brother has been in touch and has shown me the paperwork from the will. Everything is being sorted out, and they seem like nice people. It is a surprise for both me and Grace, as we never expected anything from her father. We have always been uncomfortable receiving things from others, as we strive to remain as independent as possible. Money has always been a touchy subject in our families. My grandfather and his partner made comments about my mother’s inheritance, and Grace had concerns about money given by her aunt to what appears to be a cult church in the Netherlands.
