Rachmaninov & Tsjaikovski Concert
The concert at the De Doelen was fantastic. The Rotterdam Philharmonics Orchestra played Rachmaninov & Tsjaikovski. I made the mistake of not asking for wheelchair place for Grace, though the staff were so accommodating and sorted us. We are definitely doing this again. I’ve already booked Mamma Mia during the Christmas period.
New Care Home Move
Grace moved into the new care home today. The room is so much, at least twice as big. Its very quiet, I think in part because the residents are in their rooms more often. My intention is to spend a lot more time there. I was encouraged to bring a table and chair and spend as much time with Grace as I wanted.
Leaving Laurens was a bit of upsetting. I’ll write more about this, once things are settled down in the new care home.
Too Much Wine Drunk
I drunk a few too many glasses of red wine last night, at bar in the centre of town after dropping Grace off. It was a sort of pat on the back regards so much being achieved over the last few days, pulling myself out of trough. Though it made me feel crap. This morning I left me feeling tired and times anxious.
