Grace Brings Out Her Superpowers Again
Things are better today. I went to see Grace this morning, and she was so happy to see me. She was verbal and excited—it was wonderful. She wasn’t just repeating what I said; she was talking for herself. We did an Instagram post, and I mentioned that sometimes I struggle. She responded, saying, “Because you are lonely.” Despite the FTD and how severe it is, she has superpowers of strength.
A New Room for Grace
The nurses have said that Grace can move to a new room. I’m already impressed with the space she has in her current room, but this new room is double the size and comes with her own bathroom. For the nurses, it means they’ll have more room to maneuver the lift that moves Grace between her bed and wheelchair.
Life is about opening doors and discovering what’s on the other side. Good things can emerge from bad circumstances, just as they have with Grace moving from Laurens to Pniel.
