Gratitude
Today was super relaxing. Practicing gratitude really works. I’ve lost my €250 Bose headphones, but I’m grateful I can buy new ones.
I’m in an Airbnb in the Gloria area of Rio. Despite all the noise around us, it’s really relaxing. It’s hot here—29°C at 6 PM. I don’t understand a word of Portuguese, but the people seem friendly and relaxed.
It’s carnival time, and everyone is out and about on the streets. The atmosphere is fantastic! I’ve never seen so many people in swim shorts and bikinis.
