Back in Rotterdam and with Grace
I’m back in Rotterdam. I brought fresh orange juice for Grace, and she drank it all. I spent most of the day with her. She is happy with me, and I’m happy with her. I still give her kisses like it was yesterday when Grace didn’t have FTD.
I’m making no progress with language and books. I’ve decided that Mexico will be my book-writing holiday.
Colombia in 2025
I’ve decided to do an immersive Spanish course in Colombia next year. I’ve heard they have the best Spanish accent to learn from. This will mean two months in Colombia and Central America next year, ideally three months in 2025. I plan to book flexible tickets, as I really don’t know how things will be with Grace by then.
Second Book: Style and Structure
I’m making progress on completing the second book. I’m writing with more style than I did with the first one. I’ve put much more effort into it, but it’s still not good enough. It doesn’t capture the complete story, and it lacks the flow I’m looking for. That said, at least I can see this. I’m also keen to stick to my own style. I’m about a week away from finishing it. After that, I’ll focus on the third book. Plus, the first book needs some reworking at some point. Wow, I can see all the flaws in its structure and content.
