GDPR Subject Access Requests – Proving we live together

I have spent nearly all-day writing GDPR Subject Access Requests, so that I can get as much evidence as possible that me and Grace have lived together since 1997. I have raised requests with banks, insurance providers, local government bodies, tax authorities, driving license agencies, employers … I just hope we get lucky and get sufficient information.

Hardback copy of the Book is in the Rotterdam Library

I dropped the Dutch hardback version of our book Our Journey with Early Age Dementia: Learning to Live with a F@@king Terrible Disease at Rotterdam Central Library near Blaak Station. The guy at the library seemed impressed with the book.

I hoping to hear back in a few days regarding confirmation that they will showcase the book in the central lobby with other local authors.

Seeing Residents at the Care Home

OMG I saw Maria and few residents this evening when I went to collect Grace.  M, F and R were all smiles when I saw them and it was so nice to see them. Maria was feeling a bit uncomfortable.  I explained I was told I upset the residents – which everyone knows is the biggest load of ……  The conversation was had on the Nieuwe Binnenweg.

Shopping and Shopping and …

We shopped and shopped until we dropped. I bought some slip on shoes and tops for Grace, from TK Maxx and Primark, plus some skin cream products for me and Grace at the The Body Shop.

I got Grace a cowboy hat and she looks really good it.  Does dementia?  When she her sometimes you would never know.

We didn’t have time to eat.  Just a few drinks at a café and Grace feel asleep. I took her back to the care home.

Finally I got the Letter from the Gemeente (Local Council)

I know have the letter from the local council regards proving my current address. This means I have the paperwork for the trip, as I need it when I stop in Dubai. On Monday I need to get it stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then the UAE Embassy.  Now I can book the flights!

I will not be seeing anyone in Dubai. I just want some time to myself.
