The nurses explained to me that Grace is walking again today with the help of the physio. Apparently, she even walked from her bed to the bathroom this morning. I cannot express how pleased I am; it shows her desire to be mobile again. She even said, in Dutch, “I can stand up” and “I want to walk.”

Brain Bank Confirms they have Processed Grace’s Form
I received confirmation from the Hersenbank (Brain Bank) that they had received Grace’s form, in which she expressed her desire to donate her brain for research after her passing. I wrote back to confirm that they would not remove her eyes, and they replied that they would not. However, this news brought tears to my eyes, and I felt quite upset.
