Fully packed day yesterday, starting off with Chiro then a couple of private appointments, with work thrown in amongst all of this. Was absolutely shattered to the point that I fell asleep on the train and luckily woke up when arriving at Rotterdam.
Grace looked good and was in great spirits. We took a walk through town and spent some time in library.
Grace watched some chess, with some kind guys who looked out for her, whilst I went to the bathroom
There are times with Grace where it feels like things were before the dementia and I am so grateful for that.
We’ve got an invite to watch on the Rotterdam teams in the coming month, sitting in the disabled section. More to follow!
You can work out the rota at the care home by who brings Grace to reception 😊. It’s a shame , because some nurses have clearly been put in a position where they cannot bring Grace out. Others avoid coming out 🙂
