New wet weather gear for Grace
Last night we had a good evening together, buying some wet weather gear and fleece for Grace and drinking frappuccino’s in Starbucks.
Classical Music Concert for Grace
On Instagram I’ve see an advert for concerts playing classical music in Laurenskerk in the centre of Rotterdam. I am going to book tickets for me and Grace to see it just before Christmas.
Was Grace called a prostitute by a nurse?
If there is any possibility that a nurse has said to Grace that she is prostitute then I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect they are suspended from work until a full independent investigation. I have complained directly to the three main senior directors. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within a few days, considering the seriousness, then I will have reason to report to external bodies.
The Tip of the Iceberg of Poor Care at the Care Home?

Healthy Food for Grace
Last night, when I brought Grace back to the care home, I bought her some prepared salads and fruit from the supermarket across the road from the care home. The coat she wears is not too small for her waist and she is breathing more heavily. I don’t want her to put on any more weight, particularly fat, and I am happy to fund healthy food. Though why should I pay for something that Laurens is funded by the government to do?
Looking forward to Brazil and Argentina
I’ve been thinking about Brazil and Argentina, and I can’t wait to go. I’ve been reading books about the places I can travel down the coast from Rio to Buenos Aires. It looks amazing and a real escape.
