We went to an event planned for families and it was so wonderful. I really enjoyed my evening with Grace and other residents and nurses. Grace was really happy and I helped her with the meal. Held in the restaurant, of the building where the care home, the food was excellent. It was the first time in a long time that we felt like a couple again. It is a memory I will not forget in a long time.
The only downside was that Grace fell on her way back to the care home. She was walking funny holding me and slipped. I grabbed her before she fell on her head, instead she just fell on her side. Myself and nurse had to carry her back to the care home area, and too bed. It seems like she has sprained ankle, by the way she is hobbling.
